Bowser stole the star rod to finally take over the Mushroom Kingdom. It is a modded Hard mode (enemies have more hp) and randomizer (star pieces, items, badges, shine sprites and enemy held items are all random causing some crazy hard battles). Paper Mario Remastered is a remake of Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64, developed by Ghostrealm Studios and Intelligent Systems for the Enigma console. I'm pretty sure this game is self-aware. There sure is a lot to talk about… or you can just meme. Master quest is definitely a move for the future tho.
